Description of Services:
Responsibilities of the Clerk are:
- Maintains vital statistics for the municipality
- Acts as Commissioner of Oaths
- Acts as Chief Returning Officer for Municipal and School Board elections
- Signs by-laws, contracts, deeds, transfers, leases and other legal documents on behalf of the Municipality
- Maintains the Records Management Program
- Acts as Municipal Freedom of Information and Privacy Coordinator for the Corporation
- Oversees the municipality's insurance and vehicle licensing and property and risk management programs
