Description of Services:
Part-time and full-time classes ranging from Literacy Level 1 to Level 5 * focuses on building day-to-day English language skills with emphasis on orientation and information for newcomers about Canadian systems and services
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC): The Centre offers various part-time and full-time classes ranging from Literacy/Level 1 to Level 5. The Language Training program's curriculum builds day-to-day English language skills with emphasis on orientation and information for newcomers about Canadian systems and services. Computers are available to assist and enhance English language acquisition. Free care for newcomer children available to eligible participants as well as transportation assistance
Care for Newcomer Children in LINC: available to parents with children 6 months to 5 years of age who are registered and attending the Language Instruction program. Children registered will be under the supervision of registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) and participate in daily activities that will enhance their cognitive, creative, social and emotional developmental skills
