Description of Services:

Offers Ontario curriculum based educational programs and presentations for Grades 2 to 12

Lends out EcoKits for Grades 5, 7 and 9 which provide week-long lesson plans with a teacher resource binder, student worksheet package and all the necessary supplies

Provides the Green Manual for schools to promote reducing waste, recycling and composting

Provides a No Idling at School resource package with information on what schools can do to promote the idea of vehicles not idling when students are being dropped off or picked up

Provides an online Student Corner page where school classes can share what they have learned about environmental stewardship; submissions can be emailed, faxed or mailed to EcoSuperior

Facilitates the promotion of walking to school through the Active And Safe Routes to School program with activities such as:

International Walk to School Month
Idle-free Schools Campaign
Spring into Spring
Walking School bus
iWalk Club
Winter Walk Day
