Description of Services:

Specialized information and referral services to newcomers and refugees * provides a wide range of culturally sensitive to support newcomers in settling and integrating into Canadian society, while promoting active participation in the community

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) - Free English classes for adult newcomers to Canada * offered in a blended format (in-person and online learning) and run from Mon-Fri 9am-2:30pm * to obtain an English assessment, call ACHEV language assessment services at 1-855-330-8655 or email ysla@achev.ca

Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) available for eligible LINC participants, offered in-person Monday to Friday * care is provided for infants aged 6 to 18 months, and children aged 19 months to 6 years of age * session includes action songs, story time, crafts, show & tell and games
