Description of Services:

Oversees the operations and maintenance of municipal infrastructure and related services

Roads and Transportation
  • Maintains and repairs local roads, curbs, sidewalks and ditches
  • Responsible for snow removal, sanding and salting roadways and sidewalks
  • Responsible for street lighting and traffic signals
Sewer and Water
  • Responsible for municipal water distribution system
  • Operates a water treatment plant
  • Does not provide municipal sewer systems; residents responsible for providing own septic fields
Waste and Recycling Management (Landfill)
  • Provides and operates supervised landfill sites for residents and business owners to dispose of garbage
  • Provides bins at landfills for collection of recyclable items
  • Provides list of acceptable recyclable items on website and in local newspaper
